Time division exchange having automatic interpretation function

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To talk with an opposite party different in language by a language convenient to each person by equipping a central processing unit setting a path via a interpretation trunk designated from an outgoing subscriber to an incoming subscriber and setting a line via a interpretation trunk from the incoming subscriber to the outgoing subscriber. CONSTITUTION:When a subscriber of a telephone set 1 transmits information about to which trunk the subscriber is to be connected from the telephone set 1, the information is transmitted from the digital telephone set 1 to a central processing unit 47. Then the central processing unit 47 changes a talking path to make the path from the telephone set 1 of the path to the opposite subscriber via a interpretation trunk 32 interpreting Japanese into English, and make the path from the said opposite subscriber of the path to the telephone set 1 via a interpretation switch 33 from English into Japanese by a control path 51 to a time division switch 53.
