Boundary error detecting system for assembler instruction
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To detect early an error and to shorten the working time by delivering an alarm display onto an assembly list after detecting a using error related to the boundary conditions of an assembler instruction. CONSTITUTION:A boundary condition checking part 9 within an assembler 3 calculates the address of an operand for an instruction extracted by a boundary conditional instruction extracting part 8 and checks whether the operand address is set on a correct boundary. If the operand address offends against the boundary conditions, and a program exception is expected in execution, this information is given to an alarm display part 10. Then the part 10 displays an error to an instruction line on an assembly list 6 in a prescribed mark, etc.
