Toner supply method of copying machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To supply a toner without scattering the toner around a device neither dirtying the worker by breaking a seal of a toner supply box with a projecting part provided in a storage part and supplying the toner in the state where the supply box is inserted into a storage vessel. CONSTITUTION:When an upper cover of a toner supply box 1 is removed to insert the toner supply box 1 to an upper supply hole 7 of a storage vessel 6, a projection 5 directed to the central part of the supply hole 7 breaks the seal face of the supply box 1. When the supply box 1 is lifted slightly, the toner is dropped from an aperture part opened in the seal face and is stored in the storage vessel 6. Consequently, the toner is supplied easily only by attaching and detaching the supply box 1 to and from the supply hole 7, and the supply work is performed without scattering the toner around the device neither dirtying the device and the worker.
