Mounting construction for corner joint for securing window panel
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the mounting of a corner joint and improve the maintenance and stability thereof after the mounting, by providing the corner joint with lugs having stoppers and projecting from the joint, and by engaging the lugs in the through holes of flush mounting strips to fix the corner joint. CONSTITUTION:The legs 11a and fins 11b of flush mounting strips 11 are partly cut off to provide through holes 12. Lugs 14 are integrally provided on a corner joint 13 at both the ends thereof so that the lugs project from the joint. Stoppers 15 project obliquely upwards from the sides of the lugs 14. The projecting positions of the lugs 14 correspond to the positions of the through holes 12 so that the stoppers 15 are brought into contact with the bottoms of the strips 11 to keep the lugs 14 from coming out of the through holes, when the lugs are inserted into the through holes. The corner joint 13 can thus be mounted simply by a one-touch operation.
