Air-fuel ratio controller

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent displacement of an air-fuel ratio, by a method wherein correction of an amount of fuel fed according to regulation of an exhaust gas recycling amount is started and completed later than regulation. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas recycling regulating means M2 is installed to a passage through which the exhaust system and the suction system of an internal combustion engine M1 are interconnected. A pressure, transmitted to the exhaust gas recycling regulating means M2, is regulated by a pressure regulating means M3. A fuel feeding means M4 for feeding fuel to the internal combustion engine M1 is provided, and a fuel amont is corrected depending upon a recycling amount by means of an electronic control means M6. Correction of a fuel feed amount is started and completed in delay than regulation of a recycling amount. This enables prevention of displacement of an air-fuel ratio due to turning ON and OFF of EGR.
