Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To restrain the roll of a vehicle while preventing the left and right loads of ground contact of wheels from unbalance even without improving the torsional rigidity of an antiroll bar by enabling a portion of a car body mount of the antiroll bar to be vertically moved. CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic cylinders 14, 15 are connected to a car body mount of an antiroll bar 9 through elastic bushings 12, 13, and disposed under the upstanding condition so that pistons 14b, 15b are slidably fitted in cylinder bodies 14a, 15a. The cylinders 14, 15 have piston rods 14c, 15c projecting from one end of the bodies 14a, 15a telescopically under the liquid-tight condition. These rods are connected to the bar 9 through the bushings 12, 13 while bodies 14a, 15a are connected to a car body through elastic bushings 16, 17. Thus, the cylinders 14, 15 can move vertically the corresponding portions of the bar 9.
