Program backup system of exchange station of multiprocessor constitution

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent increase in an error recovery time by allowing each processor to provide a means using a program stored in each processor as a backup program at program reload at a fault of other processor in one exchange station so as to decrease a program load time to a faulty processor. CONSTITUTION:Other processor module receiving a program load request signal A via a bus 1 checks whether it has the same program as the program kind represented in a signal and when the same program is provided, a program load approval signal is returned to a faulty processor module. When the faulty processor module receives a program load approval signal from other module, a program load request signal B is transmitted to the said processor module so as to request the transfer of the program and the program of the faulty processor module is transferred from the other processor module having the same program in one exchange station.
