Endoscope
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a good observation image by arranging cover glass of an eyepiece part at an angle to a face vertical to the optical axis to prevent the occurrence of a ghost flare in the visual field. CONSTITUTION:An endoscope 1 consists of an inserting part 2 and an operating part 3. In the inserting part 2, a constitution part 6 is provided at the tip of a flexible tube part 4 through a curved tube part 5. The operating part 3 is provided with a nob 10, an air/water switching valve 11, an observation window 7, an eyepiece device 14, etc. The cover glass is held on the outside of the lens of the eyepiece device 14 by a ring. This glass is arranged at 5 deg. to the face vertical to the optical axis. The light, which is reflected on the outermost face of the glass, of the end face image of an image guide goes toward the end face of the image guide but is ouside the visual field. Therefore, a generated ghost is outside the visual field of an observer and is not generated apparently. It is desirable that the angle of inclination of the glass is 5-10 deg..
