Printer print head gap adjustment device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily adjust the parallel degree of a platen and a carrier shaft at the time of initial assembling while making it possible to easily perform only the gap adjustment of the platen and a printing head at the time of use, by fixedly providing left and right symmetric cams to both ends of the carrier shaft and providing eccentric rollers contacted with said cams in a state inlaid with a fixed shaft. CONSTITUTION:By engaging the punched-out projection 14 of a lever 11 with either one of recessed parts 27 by operating a lever 11, the gap G between a platen 3 and a printing head 1 is adjusted. That is, by integrally rotating cams 9 provided to both ends of a carrier shaft 4 along with said carrier shaft 4 by the lever 11, the gap G is determined. When deviation is generated in the parallel degree of the carrier shaft 4 and the platen 3, it is corrected by rotating left and right eccentric rollers 20 individually only at a necessary angle and the rotation of the eccentric roller 20 is performed by rotating a knob 18 after a screw 22 is loosen. After the parallel degree is adjusted, by rotating the left and right eccentric rollers 20 at the same angle, the zero point adjustment of the gap G can be performed. The adjustment of the parallel degree and zero point adjustment as mentioned above may be performed once at the time of assembling.
