Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent turbulence of recording sheets to be stacked in alignment in a two-side recording device, by furnishing a press member at the front part of the stacking area in order to hinder the leading edge of each recording sheet from floating up, wherein the recording sheets are already transcripted on their one sides. CONSTITUTION:Each recording sheet P after its one side is transcripted, is sent through a roller couple 21 etc., and advances while sliding on an intermediate plate 37 and a receptacle member 27 tilting forward, to stop when it runs against a stopper plate 28. At this time floating-up of the sheet P is prevented by a press member 43 of elastic material installed in the neighborhood of said stopper plate 28. Here the end face 27c of the receptacle member 27 is in engagement with a cam 30a to allow the member 27 to incline to the right round a shaft 27a, so that the recording sheets P are stacked with their two sides having a right angle between put in good alignment. When a signal for starting the feed is given to rotate the cam 30a 180 deg. so as to put the receptacle member 27 into the horizontal position and to heave the intermediate plate 37 with the aid of a bell crank 35 and a pressure contact plate 36. Thus the recording sheet P is pressed to the sheet feed roller 38.
