Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a color recording free from color deviation by a method wherein a recording picture of a paper is grasped with moving means at the rear thereof, the range of reciprocating movement of the moving members are positioned accurately and then, recording is done in a different color ink each time the members are reciprocated. CONSTITUTION:In a color printer so designed that one picture portion of a recording paper is reciprocated several times to perform recording in a different color ink each time done so, the rear part of a recording image of the paper is grasped between a grasping lever 27 and a moving unit 21 and the moving unit 21 is reciprocated with a drive pulley 24 through a wire 23 while a platen roller 17 adapted to press the paper 15 on a recording head 11 is rotated in the direction of feeding the paper 15 being allowed to slip with the paper 15. Depending on the case, the platen roller 17 is preferably kept free through a clutch.
