Air pressure adjuster of tyre

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable air pressure in a tyre of being controlled by the operation of a control switch or the like from the driver's seat by providing a tyre wheel with both an air sending device connected to a tyre tube and a pressure variation detecting device of the tyre. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle is driven on a general road, a driver throws in the switch mounted in front of the driver to electrify an electromagnet disposed in an open part 204 at the side of a for-highway potential variation detecting chamber 202 of a potential variation detecting device 2 so as to close said open part 204 by means of an opening and closing valve 206. At the same time, the open part 203 disposed at the side of a for-general-way potential variation detecting chamber 201 is opened. An air in a tyre 3 is sent into the detecting chamber 201 to slide a sliding plate and determination of a low air pressure in the tyre attributed to a stop of said plate at the point of a warning electrode plate causes generation of a warning. According to the warning, the motor 101 of an air sending device 1 is actuated to feed air produced by an air sending pump 100 into the tyre 3 via a connecting pipe 102 until the pressure in the tyre is increased up to the specified pressure.
