Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To always keep excellently the contact between a tape and a magnetic head by shifting a support of an electro-mechanical transducer element from a line tying a turning center of a turning body and the magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The plain view of a major part of a bimorph part of a head device of a VTR is shown in Fig. A head mounting part 211 projected in a direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the bimorph 21 is provided to one end of the bimorph 21 and a magnetic head 7 is fitted to the mounting part 211. The other end of the bimorph 21 is a support 212 of the bimorph 21 (shown in hatched lines in Fig.) and supported by the turning body. The structure of the bimorph 21 and the application of voltage are the same as the known method as shown in the side view when the bimorph 21 is displaced upward.
