Slip controlling apparatus for torque converter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve follow-up characteristics and accuracy of control, by changing parameters for PID operation according to the magnitude of slip errors. CONSTITUTION:PID operational means (e) is connected with parameter changing means (g) for changing parameters for PID operation according to the magnitude of slip errors. Two opposite objects are thereby attained at the same time, that is, an object to bring the slip value close to the desired value as soon as possible and another object to bring the slip value to the desired value without producing a large overshoot. Therefore, the follow-up characteristics of control can be improved and the control can be performed accurately.
