Pharmaceutical preparation for oral cavity

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:A pharmaceutical preparation for oral cavity having improved adhesivity, administrable to the whole body, consisting of a drug layer containing an acrylic acid polymer, CMC-Na, glycerin, and a drug, and a supporting layer containing an acrylic acid polymer, CMC-Na, glycerin, and a metal salt. CONSTITUTION:The pharmaceutical preparation 4, for example, consists of the drug layer 2 comprising 1-50wt% acrylic acid (co)polymer, or its water soluble salt (A), 5-50wt% CMC-Na (B), 30-90wt% glycerin, or propylene glycol (C), and a drug (e.g., hormone agent, antiallergic, etc.) (D) as essential components, and the supporting layer 3 comprising 1-50wt% component A, 5-50wt% component B, 30-90wt% component C, and 0.3-15wt% bivalent or more valent metal salt, preferably Ca salt or Mg salt as essential components. It consists of the soft drug layer having improved adhesivity to wet surface, and the soft and tough supporting layer, and the drug is administrable widely and securely without causing a feeling of physical disorder.
