Thermal transfer recording medium
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To provide the titled medium which is free of lowering in probability of transfer even when an image-receiving paper with a low surface smoothness is used and does not generate ground contamination, wherein an ink layer softened at a low temperature and a surface layer are provided on a base. CONSTITUTION:The ink layer 2 (e.g., carbon black, Japan wax) softened at a temperature of 35-65 deg.C is provided on the base (e.g., a condenser paper) 1, for example, in a thickness of 2-5mum, and a substantially colorless surface layer 3 (e.g., a polyacrylic material) is provided thereon, for example, in a thickness of not thicker than 2mum, to obtain the objective medium.
