Fully automatic blood analyzer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus capable of automatically performing analysis to a whole blood specimen and analysis to a clarified solution, by providing a means for inputting the discrimination code and analytical items of the specimen and a means for obtaining analyzed data by operating and controlling a whole blood analyser corresponding to the analytical items. CONSTITUTION:CPU9 judges whether a specimen of a discrimination code reguires analysis on the basis of the information form a discrimination code reader 11 and the information from a card reader 7. When analysis is required, a sampler 16 is operated and the specimen container 2 thereof is introduced into an analytical means 21 where the specimen is distributed to perform analysis. Subsequently, when the specimen requires analysis in a clarified solution analytical means 23 on the basis of the informations from a discrimination code reader 12 and the card reader 7, the specimen container 2 is introduced into a blood separating means 22 by a sampler 17 and the separation of the clarified solution from whole blood is performed. When the container 2 having the clarified solution received therein is detected by a reader 13, a sampler 18 is operated and the container 2 is introduced into the analytical means 23 to perform analysis. Analyzed results of whole blood and the clarified solution thus obtained are printed out by a printer 29.
