Centralized control system for electronic device or the like

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To decrease the number of operation keys and to increase the capacity of centralized managememnt by applying character display of the selected operating mode to a character display by means of a function selecting key and performing function display to the corresponding operation key. CONSTITUTION:The function selecting keys 12 are provided to the left side of an operation panel of a control transmitter 11 in the centralized control system. Further, operation keys 13 are arranged in one line laterally at the center and character display devices 14 are provided laterally in a long line corresponding to the keys 13. In applying remote control, any of the keys 12 is selected at first and when the key is depressed, the character of the operating function display corresponding to the operation key 13 as to the corresponding function is displayed on the character display device 14. Since the said character is displayed one by one to each operation key 13, the operation key 13 displayed on the character is operated, the key operation of the corresponding device is controlled remotely.
