Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To release a conveyance path easily and perform operation with a relaxed posture by drawing out the 1st unit which includes a photosensitive body and the conveyance path to the right side of a main body, and lifting the 2nd unit relating to the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The 1st unit 30 which includes the photosensitive drum 2, peripheral equipment, and conveyance constituent members is supported on a rail 29 at the lower part of the copying machine body, and can be drawn out in a direction (n). The 2nd unit 40 which includes the photosensitive drum 2 and its peripheral equipment, on the other hand, is supported on a rail 39 in a lifting-up state. Therefore, if a jam occurs, the 1st unit 30 is drawn out to the right side of the main body and the 2nd unit 40 is then lifted to open the conveyance path upward easily; and paper jamming is handled easily with a relaxed posture and the efficiency is improved.
