Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve resistance to wear, resistance to corrosion, and resistance to flaw, by a method wherein, in a vehicle wheel with a disc and a rim, an inorganic matter flame-spraying layer is formed on a rim flange, a disc or a bead seal. CONSTITUTION:A flame-spraying layer 4, made of a material, which is selected from an inorganic matter, such as metal, ceramic, a glass material, an enamel material, for example, 1 or 2 types of particles, selected from metallic particle containing metallic particle, such as Al, Ti, and an inorganic metallic compound, such as Al2O3, and inorganic metallic compound particle, are formed on a whole portion ranging from a disc 2 to the outer surface of a rim flange 6. This permits improvement of resistance to exfoliation, resistance to chamicals, resistance to weather, and resistance to rust and corrosion.
