Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce load current of each battery, increase its utilization, decrease charging time of a strobo, and increase the number of flash times by dividing a large number of power source batteries into a plurality of battery groups to form a plurality of d.c. power sources. CONSTITUTION:Power source batteries 22 are formed with rechargeable AA size battery (for example, nickel-cadmium battery). 18 cells of 20 cells are arranged with their center axes vertical, then three cells are stacked in front and rear direction, two cells in right and left direction, and three cells in vertical direction, then they are accommodated into a hollow cylindrical compartment 21a. The remaining two cells 22 are arranged so that thire center axes are in front and rear direction, and accommodated in a hollow rectangular compartment 21b of a compartment 21. The power source batteries 22 accommodated in the compartment are divided into five four cell groups and batteries 22 in each group are connected in series to form five d.c. power sources E1-E5.
