Structure of blowoff port of air conditioner

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to adjust the velocity of blowoff air at a constant rate and also to adjust the blowing direction of the air by a method wherein a lever provided on a first shaft is rotated and rocked and the angles of wing plates supported by the fitst shaft and second shafts are adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A lever fitting piece 10 is fixed to an extended end of a first shaft 5 and the movable blades 6 are supported by a support plate 3 through second shafts 7 so as to rock freely. When an operating handle 12 of the lever fitting piece 10 is rotated in the direction of the arrow B, a cam member 14 is rotated in the direction of the arrow B' so that the movable blades 6 become inclined to narrow the sectional areas of openings formed between the movable blades 6 and the stationary blade 4 and the velocity of the blowout air increases. Further, when the operating handle 12 is rotated in the direction of the arrow D, the support plate 3 is rotated through the first shaft 5 and the second shafts 7 are rotated until they come to the ends 22 and 23, respectively, of guide holes 9 so that air is blown out obliquely downward.
