Fuel injection controlling method for internal-combustion engine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent air-fuel mixture from becoming too rich, by prohibiting asynchronous injection of fuel when the engine speed is not within a prescribed range in an internal combustion engine in which lack of fuel at the time of accelerating the engine is supplemented by effecting fuel injection asynchronously with roatation of the crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:In operation of an engine, a fuel injection control circuit 19 at first detects a datum injection quantity of fuel from the output signals of an air- flow meter 3 and a crank angle sensor 14, and then the datum injection quantity is corrected appropriately on the basis of the output signals of a water- temperature sensor 15, and an O2-sensor 16, etc. According to the corrected injection quantity, an injector 8 is opened in synchronism with rotation of the crank angle. At the time when acceleration oaf engine is detected, on the other hand, the injector 8 is made to cause asynchronous injection of fuel so as to supplement lack of fuel supplied by the above synchronous injection. However, when the engine speed is not within a prescribed range, the above synchronous injection of fuel is inhibited so as to prevent the air-fuel ratio from becoming too rich.
