Mold for casting
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain suitable injecting speed and mold releasing time by a method wherein an ultrasonic probe is provided for detection of the change of acoustic impeadance in injecting and hardening process of resin, and the obtained signals are indicated. CONSTITUTION:Resin injected from an inlet hole 4 arrives at an air reservoir 2 through a molding cavity 3. Then, an ultrasonic probe 5 detects the change of acoustic impeadance of gas to that of liquid. When resin is in gelation the change of acoustic impeadance of liquid to that of solid is detected. Signals from the ultrasonic probe 5 are processed at a signal processing unit 6 to be displayed at a display unit 7. In this manner, since completion of resin injection can be checked securely, pertinent injection speed can be selected. Since gelating and hardening processes also can be measured continuously, pertinent mold releasing time can be obtained and insulators of good quality can be prepared productively.
