Enclosed lead storage battery
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the time for recharging a battery, by adding sodium salt of lignine into an electrolyte of the enclosed lead storage battery and easily flowing an electric charge current at recharging of the battery after when the battery is left in an overdischarged condition. CONSTITUTION:Sodium salt of lignine of thiolignine sulfonic acid soda or the like is added into an electrolyte, and an enclosed lead storage battery is formed. Accordingly, when the battery is left in an overdischarged condition in which sulfuric acid is almost consumed approximately to neutrality, the sodium salt of the lignine is dissolved to supply a sodium ion, and an increase of resistance of the electrolyte can be suppressed, consequently an electric charge current is caused to early rise up and the time for recharging the battery can be substantially decreased.
