Video disc editing device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To edit discs quickly and accurately, by selecting automatically a disc to be recorded out of plural discs on a basis of a keyword code signal. CONSTITUTION:When a disc selecting signal is given to a register 32 from a disc selecting switch 15, a disc selecting command signal corresponding to the keyword code signal is sent from the register 32 and is given to respective solenoids 40A and 41A of disc selecting rotary switches 40 and 41. Consequently, switches 40 and 41 select a disc 12A corresponding to the detection keyword code signal. At this time, a track selecting pulse generator 42 is operated by the signal from the register 32; and when the track selecting pulse is given to a head feeding mechanism 43A of the selected disc 12A, a head 44A on the disc 12A is moved to a prescribed track.
