Emission type computer tomography device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make clear the relative position of the object in the picked up image picture, in an emission type computer tomography apparatus (ECT), by mounting an apparatus for automatically measuring the distance to the surface of the object and a mechanism for rotating said measuring apparatus on the predetermined circumferential locus around the object. CONSTITUTION:A rotary frame 11 is attached to the base stand 10 of an ECT apparatus so as to be rotatably driven around a rotary center axis O and an arm 12 is mounted to the frame 11 in a movable manner with respect to said frame 11. A scintillation camera 13 is held by the arm and a patient body being an object is laid so as to coincide the body axis of the patient with the center axis O. An automatic distance measuring apparatus 41 utilizing reflection of infrared rays or ultrasonic waves is attached to one end of the scintillation camera 13 and constitutes the contour image 52 of the object surface from the distance to the surface of the object sampled at every predetermined rotary angle and this contour image 52 is displayed so as to be superposed to the distribution image of a radioactive isotope to clearly display the positional relation in the object.
