Remote testing method of subscriber

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To test a subscriber stored in an electromagnetic type exchange from an electronic exchange by executing a subscriber's test from the electronic exchange provided with a subscriber's remote tester through a testing device of the electromagnetic exchange and receiving the test data. CONSTITUTION:A maintainer dials a testing device No. from the subscriber's remote tester (RTE) 30 and sets up a path in a testing device (TSTE) 10 through an incoming trunk (ICT) 31, a channel switch (SP) 32, an outgoing trunk (OGT) 33, a repeating step 2, an ICT 13, a cross bus switch (XBSW) 12, and a calling line Lo. The subscriber's No. to be tested is received from the RTE 30 and a testing path is set up in a subscriber (SUB) 11 to be tested through the TSTE 10, a calling line L1, an ICT 14, calling lines L2, L3 and the XBSW 12 to test the subscriber. The TSTE 10 analizes and edits the test data and returns the data to the RTE 30.
