Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To permit the rack position to be compared when the rack of a following engine is set at a prescribed position by keeping the revolution number instruction for a main engine always a little higher than that for the following engine and using a set potentiometer and a following potentiometer. CONSTITUTION:When the revolution number instructions for two units of engines 1 and 2 are given to governors 11 and 11', racks 13 and 13' move to the direction to increase the injection amount of fuel injection pumps 12 and 12'. If a little difference is generated between revolution number signals in this case, an unbalance in load share is generated, and the service life is shortened. Therefore, the revolution number instruction for a main engine 1 is set always a little higher than that for a following engine 2, and when the rack 13' of the following engine 2 is set at a prescribed position, the positions of both racks are compared with each other by a set potentiometer PT2 and a following potentiometer PT1, and if a difference is detected, a rack restricting hydraulic cylinder 15 is operated through an amplifier 17 and a solenoid valve 21, and shift of a level 10 to the increase side is restricted, and the rack 13 is set to the position 13'. Thus, load is equalized, and each burden onto the both engines are equalized.
