Breakwater structure for jetty, offshore, etc.
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To easily construct stable, strong breakwater structures by a method in which knotted piles as timbering piles are erected at given intervals in corresponding positions of the wall of a breakwater structure on the seabed ground, and a wave-breaking material is packed into the position surrounded by the knotted piles. CONSTITUTION:Knotted piles 1 as timbering piles are erected at given intervals in corresponding positions of the wall of a breakwater structure on the seabed ground (a) in such a way as to bury the lower knotted portion 3 in the ground. As needed, the heads of the knotted piles 1 are connected with cross beams 4, and several sets of the timbering piles facing each other are connected with tension rods 5. A wave-breaking material 6, e.g., filling stones, concrete blocks, etc., is packed into the portion surrounded by the knotted piles 1 to form a jetty 10 or offshore dam, and top concrete is placed on the top of the portion to form a top slab portion 7. Furthermore, as needed, a large-size breakwater block 8 is stacked up on the outside of the portion surrounded by the knotted piles 1.
