Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To decrease the influence of a moire fringe effectively on a reproduced image by removing the moire component with an electrical filter from the video signal outputted from a solid-state image sensing device. CONSTITUTION:The image from an image guide 10 provided in a fiber scope 1 is formed on the photodetection surface of a solid state image sensing device 12 by a lens 11 of a camera 2. A signal is outputted from the device 12 to a signal processing part which supplies said signal to a moire detector 13, thereby detecting the moire fringe contained in the video signal. Since the moire fringe has regularity over the entire part of the image screen, the moire fringe is detected by making the of its characteristic and the frequency thereof is discriminated. The frequency of the moire fringe detected in such a way is supplied to a filter control circuit 14, by which the moire fringe is removed. The circuit 14 feeds the output to the 1st analog switch 15 within the prescribed range of the moire fringe component detected by the detector 13 and said switch emits the video signal to a notch filter 16A by which the moire component is removed and thereafter the video signal is sent through a switch 18 and a video signal processing circuit 19 to a monitor 20, on which the good image is projected.
