Frequency variable probe for double resonance
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the titled probe and to reduce the cost thereof, by a taking matching by variable condenser in place of a length variable type cable. CONSTITUTION:Decoupling high frequency f1 is supplied to a specimen coil 1 arranged in close vicinity to a specimen from one end A of the specimen coil 1 through an input terminal 2, a variable condenser 11, a synchronous condenser 3 and a coupling condenser 5 while high frequency fo for observation is supplied from the other end B of said coil 1 through an input terminal 6 and a synchronous condenser 7. In addition, 1/4 wavelength cables 9, 10 each having a length 1/4 of the wavelength of the decoupling high frequency are connected to both ends A, B of the specimen coil 1 and the leading end of the cable 9 is closed while the leading end of the cable 10 is opened. The synchronous condenser 3, 7 are adjusted to take synchronism with respect to the decoupling high frequency and the observing high frequency and variable condensers 11, 12 are changed to take impedance matching.
