Variable timer type thermostat
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To attain pleasant temperature control in response to temperature difference by detecting that a difference between the room temperature detected at a sensor and a preset room temperature exceeds a prescribed value so as to change the rate of on/off period of a timer circuit. CONSTITUTION:The room temperature sensed at a thermister 13 of a signal section C and a set temperature set at a voltage dividing resistor 15 of a control section D are compared and a driving section E is controlled based on the result. The driving section E is connected with a power supply A through a timer circuit B. The timer circuit B generates a rectangular wave by using a comparator 9, a capacitor 4, and resistors 2, 3, 6, 8, and a DC power supply 1 is applied intermittently to the drive section E. In this case, comparators 22, 23 detect whether or not the absolute value of the difference between the set room temperature and the detected room temperature exceeds a prescribed value. A timer time adjustment control section F is provided, by which the off period of the said timer circuit B is decreased when the difference exceeds the prescribed value.
