Resin composition for film

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:The titled composition that is composed of, as a major component, an ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer and, as a minor component, an ethylene-alpha- olefin copolymer of a specific density, thus showing good heat adhesion, shock resistance and hot-tack properties. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. of an ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer, preferably of ethylene and less than 10mol% ethyl acrylate, with 5-100pts.wt. of an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer of 0.915- 0.940g/cm<3>, preferably of ethylene and less than 10mol% of 1-butene, 1-hexene, 4-methyl-1-pentene or 1-octene, preferably of 10-70pts.wt. of the copolymer, when the olefin is butene-1, or 10-90pts.wt. of the copolymer, when it is 1- hexene, 4-methyl-1-pentene or 1-octene. USE:Extrusion coating and dry lamination.
