Original illuminating device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To permit utilization of diffusion light again as illuminating light and to improve the efficiency of illumination by disposing a reflective optical member for returning the diffusion light reflected on an original surface again to the original surface near the original surface. CONSTITUTION:A reflective optical member 15 is constituted of an arc-shaped reflection mirror 20 centering at the focus B on an original surface to focus the diffusion light reflected on the original surface to the focus B. The diffusion light reflected from one line in the longitudinal direction of a slit to be illuminated on the original surface including the focus B is reflected by the mirror 20 and returns onto the same line. Since the reflective optical member for returning the diffusion light reflected on the original surface again to the original surface is disposed near the original surface in this invention as mentioned above, the diffusion light which is not utilized in the prior art is made usable again for illumination and the efficiency of illumination is remarkably improved.
