Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent vibration damping effect from being changed due to the change of environmental temperature by providing a contraction passage between fluid chambers partitioned by rubber like elastic bodies and controlling said contraction passage with a form storing alloy, in an engine mounting device for a car, etc. CONSTITUTION:Chamber spaces 9, 14 are communicated to each ther by holes 16, 18 and a valve chamber 19 formed in a frame body 1, and a valve element 20 is provided in the valve chamber 19. The valve element 20 is positioned by means of a compression coil spring 22 made of a form storing alloy and a compression coil spring 23 made of general spring steel, driven by the elongation of the compression coil spring 23 when the environmental temperature exceeds a prescribed value, and moved to a position where the hole 18 is closed. Accordingly, attenuating force due to viscosity produced when a fluid flows through both chamber spaces 9, 14 becomes large, and thus the change of the vibration damping effect is compensated since the attenuation coefficient of an annular wall element 5 is lowered at high temperature along with the reduction of the viscosity of the fluid.
