Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an interface device which can simplify the processing at a control part and contribute to simplify the constitution of the control part, by providing a means to convert mutually the signal which is transmitted/ received to and from another system and the signal which is transmitted/received to and from the control part within a system. CONSTITUTION:A signal converting part contains a conversion table and converts mutually the signal transferred to another system and the signal transferred to a control part within a system. In addition, a means is provided to rewrite the contents of the conversion table by an instruction given from the control part. For instance, a preceding status detecting part 4 detects the pulse delivered from a preceding device for an interface device 3 of a telephone exchange 1. Thus a short signal 01 is transmitted to a control part 2 from a signal converting part 9 via a trunk event sensing part 10 in accordance with the conversion table. Then the control signal is fed to a call current supply part 5 and a following status detecting part 6 from the control part 2 via a trunk order receiving part 11 and the part 9. At the same time, the conversion setting order is sent to the part 11 from the part 2 to change the pulse width of a signal.
