Facsimile transmission system
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the processing efficiency and to reduce the transmission cost, by transmitting a character in a high speed while keeping the form of character code together with an image data. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 4 converts a transmission original data transferred to a facsimile device 6 and transmits the data to a communication line 5. The facsimile device 6 analyzes a message part in a facsimile signal at a transmission control section 7, controls a data distributor 8 depending whether the part is a character data order or an image data order and a succeeding data is stored in a character buffer 9 or an image buffer 11. Each character code in the character buffer 9 is converted into a character pattern at a character generator 13 and written in a line buffer 14. Further, a bit image in the image buffer 11 is read out in synchronizing with an address of the line read out from the character generator 13 and written in the line buffer 14.
