Multichannel switch circuit
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To attain broad band, high speed, reduction in control power, and decrease in number of FET elements by constituting a matrix switch with a T switch comprising a field effect transistor as a unit switch element. CONSTITUTION:The 1st to the 4th column FETs 16-1-19-4 are taken as the 1st FET, FETs 20-1-20-4 of each channel (CH) at the output side are taken as the 2nd FET, and FETs 21-1-21-4 corresponding to each CH are taken as the 3rd FET. The same control signal is inputted to the gate of the 1st and the 2nd FETs so as to operate them at the same time, a control signal having an inverted level is inputted to the gate of the 3rd FET to form a T switch. Thus, the frequency characteristic is improved, the power consumption of the control signal is less, and the number of FETs of the matrix is reduced by using the FETs having a broad band frequency characteristic.
