Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To cover an exposure part with a shutter even when a transfer device is opened for form replacement, maintenance check, etc., by providing an interlocking mechanism which closes the cover of an opening/closing type latent image recording body when the transfer device is opened. CONSTITUTION:When the transfer device 17 is opened vertically, a crank C rotates around the center O2 of a supporting shaft to enter a state C', and consequently the coupling part O3 between cranks A and B is elevated to a position O'3 along an arcuate guide groove; and the shutter 19 is drawn up at time to move to a position 19'. Conventionally, when the device 17 is opened, the exposure area of the latent image recording body 1 is covered with the shutter 19'. When the device 17 is rotated around the shaft O2 to its original position, the crank C returns from C' to C, so the coupling part O3 also returns from positions B', A', and O'3 to positions B, A, and O3 and the sputter 19 is also rotated and lowered along the guide groove to allow transfer from the recording body 1 to a recording form 9.
