Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make the reading of both digital and analog data easy, when digital data is recorded, by compressing the analog data and recording the data on recording paper together with the digital data in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Analog data is supplied to an analog input gain switching part 10 and converted into a digital signal by an ADC11. The result is supplied to a recording control part 12. The control part 12 supplies the digital signal and a scale signal from a scale switching part 13 to a driver 15. The driver 15 actuates a recording head part 16 and records recording lines corresponding to the recording data. When a timer 17 reaches an actuating point, a switching signal is supplied to the analog input gain switching part 10 and the scale switching part 13 at the same time. The analog input gain switching part 10 is switched to the gain of 1/2. As a result, the signal on the analog data side is compressed and recorded on recording paper together with the digital data in parallel at the same time.
