Power dichotomizing distributor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To form a Wilkinson type power dichotomizing distributor having the band of impedance different from that of isolation, by providing a capacitor in series with an absorbing resistor. CONSTITUTION:The input side of two strip conductors 12, 14 formed so that the center frequency of the impedance is a prescribed frequency is connected to an input line 10 to which an input signal is applied. The absorbing resistors 16, 18 and a capacitor 20 are provided in series between the output side of both conductors 12, 14. The output side of the strip conductors 12, 14 is connected respectively to distributing lines 26, 28 via impedance matching converters 22, 24. Then, the capacitance of the capacitor 20 is selected so that the center frequency of the isolation is a prescribed frequency different from the center frequency of the impedance. Thus, the Wilkinson type power dichotomizing distributor having the band of the impedance different from that of the isolation is attained.
