Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To optimize the level of an input signal, by shaping the input signal into a rectangular wave and detecting a DC component in the rectangular wave, and comparing the detected voltage of it with a reference voltage and controlling the threshold value of a waveform shaping means so that the difference is reduced. CONSTITUTION:When the signal A is inputted to an input erminal 1, the uninverted input side (threshold value) of a voltage comparator 6 is set to zero, so the voltage comparator 6 outputs a regenerated signal E. When the high-level and low-level voltages of the regenerated signal are Ve and zero respectively, the DC component of the regenerated rectangular-wave signal E appears at the output F of an LPF8 and its voltage Vf is (t1/t1+t2)Ve. On the other hand, the reference voltage Vg as the output voltage G from a constant voltage source 9 and the DC component voltage Vf are both inputted to a DC amplifier 10. The difference between the Vg and Vf, i.e. Vh(=Vf-Vg) appears at the output H of the DC amplifier 10 and is inputted to the uninverted side (threshold value) of the voltage comparator 6. Assuming that the Vg is a half the Ve, the threshold value of the voltage comparator 6 is negative and the regenerated signal E is as shown by E'.
