Supplying method of toner

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To disuse toner feeding parts, and to prevent a toner from scattering, by providing a cutter in a toner feed port, also inserting a toner cartridge consisting of a bag packed with a toner and a holder, into the toner feed port, opening the cartridge with the cutter, and feeding the toner. CONSTITUTION:A cutter 6 is provided in a toner feed port 2 of a developing device 1. The cutter 6 forms a mountain-like straight line edge 7 on a pipe 16, and is fixed to the feed port 2 with a screw 8. On the other hand, a bag 9 of vinyl, etc. is packed with a toner, a holder 11 formed by resin, etc. is inserted into its opening part 10, a tip 12 of the holder 11 is closed up tightly by vinyl 13 so as to form a cartridge structure 14, and it is covered with a protective cap 15. When feeding a toner, the cartridge 14 is inserted into the feed port 2, and is fixed with a pin A. In this case, the tip vinyl 13 of the holder 11 is broken by an edge part 7 of the cutter 6, and also the broken hole is expanded by a pipe part 16 of the cutter 6.
