Multi-stage planetary gear device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To aim at equalizing load to a planetary gear device, by self-aligning sun gears with planetary gears in the planetary gear device. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of primary stage planetary gears 7a are meshed with a sun gear 6a integrally incorporated with an input shaft 5, and an internal gear 10. A carrier 8a bearing the first stage primary gears 7a is integrally incorporated with a second sun gear 6b with which second stage planetary gears 7b are meshed. Thus, a multi-stage transmission unit having an output shaft 9 is constituted by successively carrying out the above-mentioned steps. The sun gears 6a through 6d and the planetary gears 7a through 7d are floatingly supported by disposing balls 11a through 11d between adjacent sun gears 6a through 6d.
