Reinforcing adhesive sheet
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain titled sheet with good appearance and high adhesivity, capable of exhibiting excellent reinforcing performance, for application to metal plates, etc., by making numerous holes in the sheet itself prepared by imbedding a reinforcer in a thermosetting resin composition layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting resin composition layer pref. with tackiness comprising (A) a thermosetting resin (e.g., glycidyl ether-type epoxy resin), (B) a heat-active curing agent (e.g., dicyandiamide) (C) for example, a thermoplastic resin (e.g., polyamide), and (D) various additives such as filler (e.g., talc), is imbedded with a reinforcer (e.g., glass fiber cloth) to prepare a sheet of pref. 0.5-20mm. thick. In this sheet, using, e.g. a drill, holes with a diameter pref. of 3-5mm. are made in a density of approximately 1-10/100cm<2>, thus obtaining the objective sheet.
