Automatic voltage regulator

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable to set a stable voltage by altering the set value of a generator voltage by the number of pulses. CONSTITUTION:A voltage controller 16 calculates by an arithmetic circuit 14 the set value necessary at that time, and outputs a signal indicating the voltage rising or falling direction from an output circuit 15 and a pulse of the number corresponding to the rising or falling amount. An integrating/subtracting counter 17 integrates the pulses which are fed from the output circuit 15 in case of voltage rising, and subtracts them in case of the voltage falling. The result of the integration or subtraction is inputted to a deviation amplifier 8 through a digital-to-analog converter 18. The amplifier 8 controls the generator voltage in response to the deviation between the generator voltage from a step-down transformer 3 and a voltage detector 4 and the set value from the converter 18.
