Synthesizing method of audible sound source
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To generate a sound wave from an arbitrary area located apart from speakers. CONSTITUTION:Two speakers are so set that two ultrasnoic wave beams from a speaker A and speaker B intersect in the space. When the frequency of the speaker A is (f), and the outputted sound wave of the speaker B is an ultrasnoic wave of frequency (f) phase-modulated by a signal wave (fm) of audible range, an ultrasonic wave freshly frequency-modulated by (fm) is generated by interference in the intersected area of beams. Further, this fresh ultrasonic wave is detected in the area, and the audible range signal sound (fm) is generated. As this audible sound is generated from the interference area of ultrasonic beams, said audible sound can be generated by setting an arbitrary position in the space as a sound source by changing the angles and position of the two speakers.
