Shift control apparatus for gear box of vehicle
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To achieve synchronization with the target engine speed smoothly and responsively by changing the operating speed of a throttle valve actuator at the time of gear engagement in response to the rate of the target speed. CONSTITUTION:In the shift control apparatus in which the engagement of gears is shifted after synchronizing the engine speed to the rate rotation of the driven member by means of throttle valve opening control the throttle valve is operated by rotating the valve shaft 6a by the rotation of a motor 20. At the time of gear engagement, the rotational speed of the motor 20 is changed by controller in response to the target engine speed to synchronize the engine speed to the target speed. That is, when the target speed is high, the responsive synchronization is achieved, and when it is low, smooth and sure gear engagement can be done.
