Production of selectively permeable composite membrane for separation of gas
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a composite membrane having a high rate of permeation of oxygen and excellent selective permeability of oxygen by polymerizing a specific diisocyanate component and diamine component on a microporous backing membrane. CONSTITUTION:A diisocyanate component and a diamine component are polymerized on a microporous backing membrane whereby a polymer film is formed on the backing membrane. Said diisocyanate component contains >=50mol% component expressed by the equation I [(m) is 0 or 1-200 integers, (p) and (q) are the same or different 2-10 integers, R<1>-R<6> are the same or different 1- 10C hydrocarbon groups]. Said diamine component is expressed by the equation II(X is 2-20C org. groups, R<7> and R<8> are H or the same or different 1-6C hydrocarbon groups). The composite membrane obtd. by the above-mentioned method has a high rate of permeation of oxygen and excellent sepective permeability of oxygen.
